Job Description
Centre4 is an established vibrant Community Hub that provides office rental, room hire and various services/facilities to the community of NEL.
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to work as part of our very busy Reception/Administration Team. This role is an integral part of the core team of staff at Centre4 and it is essential that you have excellent customer service and can work in a very demanding environment. Your role will be based at reception where you will be responsible for general reception duties including the greeting of visitors, room hire bookings and set ups, and operating the telephone switchboard. In addition you will also have responsibility for a number of varied duties which will require the use of Microsoft Excel and Word as well as providing administrative support. You will be a bank of knowledge to the general public, tenants and staff. Part of the role is to be involved in marketing the Centre and assisting with events. You will also be a key-holder of the building.
The successful applicant should have: excellent written and verbal communication skills including working knowledge of IT packages such as Outlook, Word, Teams etc.; the ability to have positive and supportive relationships with customers to guide and assist them to relevant services within the building etc.; a strong commitment to team working with a proven ability to work flexibly as part of a small team.

You will also be a key-holder of the building.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately, timely and professionally Maintaining the reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times Recording monies received Maintaining and assisting in developing quality systems Answering screening and forwarding incoming calls Receiving and sorting daily mail/deliveries Ensuring reception is manned at all times or answer service is on Organising events Assisting with the marketing of Centre4 Assisting in general office administration Providing excellent customer service Providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email Maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk Administering room bookings within the Centre and for the sports and gym facility Completing staff rotas Dealing with situations in a calm and confident manner when under pressure Supporting all staff and engaging in effective team working To respect and understand Data Protection and Confidentiality of information received To adhere to all policies and procedures
